We are pleased to announce that Mrs. Chana Hayes (AKA Morah Chana), veteran educator and for many years one of our most devoted staff members has received the prestigious Grinspoon-Steinhardt Award for Excellence in Jewish Education. She is one of an elite group of educators singled out from among numerous nominations to receive this honour. We take great pride in congratulating Mrs. Hayes.

The local presentation of this award will be made by MItchell Bellman on behalf of the Jewish Federation of Ottawa on November 2, 2006 at 7:30 PM at Rambam. We at Rambam are especially proud of the Ottawa winners of the Grinspoon-Steinhardt Award for Excellence in Jewish Education as the only other local winner this year is a graduate of our school and a former student of Mrs. Hayes.

Make excellence in education a priority and join us in honouring the accomplishments of this veteran teacher.
